Our Club

Welcome to Watford Men and Cassiobury Ladies Bowls Club

A Club with a proud history founded in 1912 as Upton House BC and renamed Watford BC in 1922.
The club has been at its present site set in the wonderful surroundings of Cassiobury Park since 1924 when it was opened by the Mayor Alderman R.A.Thorpe.

Consisting of six bowling rinks, a club house containing all the facilities a modern club requires including a bar, kitchen, a spacious dining area and two changing rooms with toilets, a wonderful area to hold all kinds of functions.

We are a welcoming and friendly club with a non competitive roll-up practice night most Wednesday evenings from approximately 6.30 pm followed by hot dogs and refreshments.

Free rolls-up for the first three sessions thereafter you would be welcome to take advantage of our introductory offer for beginners and lapsed bowlers of £50 for the season’s membership

Please feel free to come along, see our facilities, enjoy the park, join in with a roll up and try the game before making a commitment.
